The following policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programmes at Harare Polytechnic. The Institute reserves the right to change School Fees without prior notice to the student. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council.

- All applicants should have 5 ‘0’ Levels including English for all courses
- Mathematics and Science are mandatory for all Engineering courses, Science Technology, ICT and other selected courses.
- To qualify for National Diploma one must have a full award at National Certificate and to qualify for a higher National Diploma one must have a full award at National Diploma.
