How To Apply For Second Semester At Unisa
The University of South Africa, what we call Unisa, is the largest open distance learning university in South Africa. If you’re interested in applying for any of the Unisa second semester courses, here’s a helpful guide on how to do so.
Doing a course at the University of South Africa (Unisa) is a great way to upskill yourself as well as make yourself more employable. Every year, in April, the university opens it’s Unisa semester 2 application period.
Here’s how to apply for admission at Unisa, using their unisa application tool.
How To Apply For Second Semester At Unisa
- Visit the Unisa website
- Click on ‘Apply’
- Under undergraduate applications, click on the option which suits you
- Click on ‘Start the process’ if you’re a first time applicant and follow the prompts
- Once you reach step 4, click on ‘Apply now’
- In the first section, click on the bubble next to the qualification you’re studying towards.
- If you already have a student number, click yes. If not, click on.
- Fill in your details and follow the prompts.
- Once you’re done, you’ll need to submit relevant documents.
Submitting documents
- Head to the ‘Apply for admission: application tool’ page
- Click on the bubble next to ‘Documents’
- Fill in your information
- Click on choose file and select the corresponding files from your device
- Click on ‘Upload’
- Once done submitting all documents, click on ‘Submit documents and continue’
- Now, you need to pay the application fee
Application fees
Use the student number you receive from Unisa AND the application fee reference number (ie STUDENT NUMBER 5370810030).
This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through Unisa, do not qualify for admission to #Unisa or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available.
Unisa does not accept cash at any of its offices.
