The National Student Financial Aid Plan (NSFAS) offers financial aid to students who still possess the intellectual aptitude to thrive in college and who meet the requirements of the NSFAS Means Test.
It pays for all of your educational expenses at any of the 24 public universities in South Africa. Public or private housing expenditures, schooling, transportation, subsistence, and books are all included in the help or scholarship.
South African academics from the working class and underprivileged can apply for scholarships through NSFAS. With entirely free post-secondary education and training.
The goal of NSFAS is to provide students from low-income and working-class households with financial aid so they can attend public universities and TVET institutions to pursue their education.

Applying Ways and Means
You can apply for an NSFAS study loan and scholarship by filling out the application form online. Fill out an Application form. publish it and shoot it to NSFAS by post.

Submit the following documents along with the operation form
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Copy of South African ID
- Certified Copy of Bank Account
- Parents’ income evidence
- Registration Proof Registration at an educational institution in South Africa
- Copy of Birth Certificate It should be certified
- Evidence of Disability (if applicable) A letter from Croaker attesting to disability
- Acceptance Letter It’s issued by the University or Colleges where you’ve enrolled
