The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) is a vital maritime law enforcement agency responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and protection of the country’s vast coastlines. The #Philippine Coast Guard through the Coast Guard Human Resource Management Command (CGHRMC) is calling all ASPIRING PCG COMMISSIONSHIP and enlistment applicants to join the PCG.
Qualifications
To be eligible for Philippine Coast Guard recruitment, applicants must meet specific criteria. These include
QUALIFICATIONS:
I. FOR COMMISSIONSHIP
A. GENERAL LINE OFFICERS (GLO)
1. Natural-born citizen of the Philippines;
2. Of good moral character;
3. Physically and mentally qualified under the existing regulations for PCG Service;
4. Single;
5. Minimum entry height of 5’0″ (152.4 cm) for both males and females;
6. Baccalaureate Degree holder;
7. With Professional Civil Service Eligibility or PRC License, Marina License for Officers, Pilot License issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) or any equivalence as may be determined and approved by the Command;
8. At least twenty-one (21) but not more than twenty-eight (28) years of age at the date of appointment in the PCG Service. For applicants coming from the ranks, no age limit will apply but the fitness of the applicant to undergo training shall be determined by the Coast Guard Medical Service.
B. TECHNICAL LINE OFFICERS (TLO)
B.1 TO with the rank of CG Lieutenant upon Commissionship (Lawyers, Medical Doctors, Dentists, Veterinarians, and Chaplain) Natural-born citizen of the Philippines;
1. Natural-born citizen of the Philippines;
2. Of good moral character;
3. Physically and mentally qualified under the existing regulations for PCG Service;
4. Single or Married (except for Priests);
5. Minimum entry height of 5’0″ (152.4 cm) for both males and females;
6. Bar or Board Passer in their respective fields of profession;
7. At least twenty-six (26) but not more than thirty-six (36) years of age upon appointment;
B.2 TO with the rank of CG Ensign upon Commissionship (Nurses, Medical Technologists, Psychologists, Physical Therapist,s and other professions considered by the Command as Technical)
1. Natural-born citizen of the Philippines;
2. Of good moral character;
3. Physically and mentally qualified under the existing regulations for PCG Service;
4. Single;
5. Minimum entry height of 5’0″ (152.4 cm) for both males and females;
6. Board Passer in their respective fields of profession;
7. At least twenty-one (21) but not more than twenty-eight (28) years of age upon appointment.
II. ENLISTMENT for Non-Officer
1. Natural-born citizen of the Philippines;
2. Of good moral character;
3. Physically and mentally qualified under the existing regulations for PCG Service;
4. Single;
5. Minimum entry height of 5’0″ (152.4 cm) for both males and females;
6. College graduate or has earned at least seventy-two (72) units in college in only one (1) course as reflected in the Transcript of Records (TOR);
7. With Sub Professional Civil Service Eligibility / second level eligibility or higher; or with TESDA National Certificate (NCII);
8. At least eighteen (18) but not more than twenty-eight (28) years of age at the date of appointment in the PCG Service.

7. Certificate of Eligibility
8. Colored Full Body Picture (4R)
- For Commissionship: White polo shirt, among pants, and rubber shoes with all ten fingers visible.
- For Enlistment: White round neck T-shirt, among pants, and rubber shoes with all ten fingers visible.
