Who Should Complete the SAPS Preliminary Trainee Application Form

Only persons wishing to apply for a Preliminary graduate Trainee position in the department must have the following requirements:

• Identity document
• Senior Certificate / National Senior Certificate / National Certificate (Vocational)
• Post-school qualification and Academic records (Diploma / Degree)
• Driver’s license (if applicable)
• Service Certificates of previous employers (if applicable)  Proof of residence
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Saps Revervist (volunteer) Application Form

An appointment as a Reservist in the South African Police Service does not reserve any right or expectation to be translated, absorbed, or appointed as an employee of the South Africa Police; or preferential treatment (of whatsoever nature) for consideration to be appointed as an employee of the South Africa Police Service. Should any Reservist wish to become an employee or a permanently employed member of SAPS, the prescribed selection and appointment process of the South African Police Service will be followed.

This application form is only for purposes of the re-enlistment process.

Additional Information

This form requires basic information. Candidates who are selected for interviews will be requested to furnish additional certified information that may be required to make a final selection.
