About SEWAFRICA
The SEWAFRICA Training Center was established in 2001 to address the unique requirements of the apparel industry in Johannesburg’s inner city.
We had to relocate to new, larger facilities in February 2004 in order to increase our capacity to satisfy the demand for training and SEWAFRICA’s reputation in the sector. At the moment, we are based out of SEWAFRICA House in Johannesburg, 136 Pritchard Street.
Full-time courses in fashion, design, and illustration, pattern making, as well as part-time courses in dressmaking and pattern making, are all offered by SEWAFRICA. Additionally, SEWAFRICA provides a two-year diploma that is accredited internationally by City and Guilds International.
