The Canadian Francophonie Scholarship Program (CFSP) is a scholarship program designed to build institutional capacities by training employed nationals from developing countries of La Francophonie.

4. CIFAR GLOBAL SCHOLARS
CIFAR is a charitable organization supported by the governments of Canada, Alberta, and Quebec, as well as foundations, individuals, corporations, and Canadian and international partner organizations.

6. MITACS ELEVATE
Mitacs Elevate is a postdoctoral fellowship with an exclusive professional development curriculum component. Fellows address complex challenges. Fellows progress through the program in a cohort, giving them cross-disciplinary networking and peer-learning opportunities they might not have otherwise in their careers.
Over the two-year fellowship, fellows divide their time between their partner organization’s project and academic institution-based research with their academic supervisor. Elevate fellows receive a $55,000 minimum annual stipend/salary.

The Jeanne Sauvé Public Leadership Program is an in-house, intercultural, and international program based at Sauvé House in Montreal.
The Foundation’s goal is to develop young leaders capable of rising to meet those challenges by communicating and collaborating across cultures, as well as thinking across traditional disciplines.
The Jeanne Sauvé Fellows are provided with a living stipend during the Residential Phase of the program (10 months). They are also given accommodation in the Sauvé House at no cost.

11. VISITING FELLOWSHIPS IN THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT LABORATORIES PROGRAM
The Visiting Fellowships in Canadian Government Laboratories Program is administered by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) on behalf of Canadian government laboratories and research institutions.
The Visiting Fellowships in Canadian Government Laboratories (VF) Program provides promising emerging scientists and engineers with the opportunity to work with research groups or leaders in Canadian government laboratories and research institutions.

12. ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAMS
The Organization of American States (OAS) coordinates a multilateral scholarship program on behalf of all participating OAS member states. The OAS awards allow graduate students from an OAS member state to apply for scholarships to study in another OAS member state.
Canada encourages eligible students to apply for these scholarships to experience Canada’s academic expertise.
