Job Description: We are in search of an experienced and performance-oriented Collection Supervisor to lead our collections team. The Collection Supervisor will be tasked with formulating and executing strategies to efficiently manage and recover outstanding debts while maintaining robust customer relationships.

Strategy Development:

  1. Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies.
  2. Continuously review and improve collection processes to optimize recovery rates.
  3. Analyze customer data to identify patterns and trends in delinquent accounts.

Team Leadership:

  1. Lead and inspire the collections team to meet targets and objectives.
  2. Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  3. Set clear performance goals and monitor team progress.

Portfolio Management:

  1. Monitor and oversee the company’s loan portfolio.
  2. Review and categorize delinquent accounts, implementing appropriate collection actions.
  3. Establish and uphold suitable collection policies and procedures.

Communication and Customer Relations:

  1. Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  2. Address escalated customer inquiries and complaints regarding collections.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines during customer interactions.

Reporting and Analysis:

  1. Prepare regular reports on collection performance for management.
  2. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to collections.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience in collections management, preferably in a financial institution or fintech.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection.
  • Proficiency in using collection software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
